Update – June 26: The RAINDATE for the Germantown Glory fireworks at the Soccerplex has changed to July 6th at 7PM. Again, this is for the rain check event only.
Just like every other year that I can remember, Gaithersburg will be firing off fireworks from the Montgomery County Fairgrounds on July 4th. Gates open at 5PM, but keep in mind that there is no parking allowed at the grounds, and Perry Parkway will be closed. Between 7 and 9PM there will be a free concert by Free Spirit, “one of the top dance bands in Washington DC”, as well as remarks from the Mayor, the Pledge of Allegiance, and the National Anthem.
