Montgomery County Public School students had their last days of class today, but that doesn’t mean it’s too early to start thinking about next year…
ROCKVILLE, MD—For the second year, Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) will kick off the school year with a Back-to-School Fair at the school system’s central office location in Rockville. The event for MCPS families will take place on Saturday, August 29, from 11 a.m.–2 p.m., on the grounds of Carver Educational Services Center, 850 Hungerford Drive, Rockville.
Coordinated by the MCPS Office of Communications and Family Outreach, the fair will feature something for everyone—from information and resources for parents to activities and entertainment for children.
The fair will be a great source of information on both school system and community programs and services for MCPS students and their families. Families are encouraged to drop by for music and entertainment, pick up helpful tips and information, and get the new school year off to a great start.
Mark your calendars and visit the Department of Family and Community Partnerships website for periodic updates over the summer.
