P1 Beat:

• A sexual assault occurred in the 400 block of West Diamond Avenue in Gaithersburg on Monday, 5/25 around 11:00 p.m. The adult female victim was confronted by the suspect, who grabbed her and placed his hand over her mouth. The victim bit his hand and he fled. The suspect was found nearby on Muddy Branch Road and arrested.

• A theft from a vehicle occurred in the 200 block of High Gables Drive in Gaithersburg on Tuesday, 5/19 at 10:50 p.m. Suspects entered an unlocked vehicle and removed CD’s.

• A theft from a vehicle occurred on Big Acres Square Drive in Gaithersburg between Tuesday, 5/19 at 6:30 p.m. and Wednesday, 5/20 at 8:00 a.m. Suspects entered an unlocked vehicle and removed a GPS unit.

• A theft from a vehicle occurred on School Drive in Gaithersburg between Wednesday, 5/20 at 6:30 p.m. and Thursday, 5/21 at 6:00 a.m. Suspects entered an unlocked vehicle and removed a GPS unit.

• A theft from a vehicle occurred in the 100 block of Bent Twig Lane in Gaithersburg between Wednesday, 5/20 at 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, 5/21 at 7:15 a.m. Suspects broke the window and removed a GPS unit.

• A theft from a vehicle occurred in the 100 block of Bent Twig Lane in Gaithersburg on Thursday, 5/21 between midnight and 5:35 a.m. Suspects broke the window and removed clothing.

• A theft from a vehicle occurred in the unit block of Silver Kettle Court in Gaithersburg on Saturday, 5/23 between 2:30 a.m. and 2:35 a.m. Suspects broke a window and removed an iPod.

P2 Beat:

• A residential burglary occurred in the unit block of Seville Way in Gaithersburg on Thursday, 5/21 at 10:25 p.m. No forced entry, property taken. The resident confronted the suspect and was able to provide a description.
Suspect: H/M 17-22 years, 5’10” to 6’0”, thin build white tee shirt, green scarf on his head

• A residential burglary occurred in the unit block of Goodport Court in Gaithersburg on Wednesday, 5/20 between 11:00 a.m. and 2:40 p.m. No forced entry, property taken.

• A commercial burglary was discovered at KC Jewelry, 405 North Frederick Avenue in Gaithersburg on Tuesday, 5/26 around 1:45 a.m. Responding to an alarm there, units found forced entry

• A residential apartment burglary occurred in the 18600 block of Walkers Choice Road in Montgomery Village on Thursday 5/21 at 3:20 p.m. This incident was domestic.

• An indecent exposure occurred in the parking lot of 701 Russell Avenue in Gaithersburg on Wednesday, 5/20 around 3:50 p.m. The victim observed a suspect exposing himself and notified police. The suspect was gone prior to the officers arriving.

R2 Beat:

• A robbery occurred in the area of Buhrstone Drive near Apple Ridge Road in Gaithersburg on Monday, 5/25 at 1:25 a.m. Two suspects attacked an adult male, took his property, and fled on foot.
Suspect: B/M 20-30 years, 5’5” to 5’7”, 150-170 lbs., crew cut, white thermal shirt, brown shorts
Suspect: B/M 20-30 years, 5’8” to 5’10”, 170-190 lbs., white shirt, black pants

• A robbery occurred in the 19000 block of Montgomery Village Avenue in Montgomery Village on Monday, 5/25 at 3:20 a.m. The male suspect approached the adult male victim who was seated in his vehicle and demanded money. The victim got out to confront the suspect, who knocked the cellphone out of the victim’s hand. The suspect grabbed the phone and fled.
B/M 20-25 years, 5’9” to 6’0”, 160-180 lbs., black shorts, black sneakers

• A residential burglary occurred in the 19500 block of Tiber Court in Montgomery Village on Thursday, 5/21 around 4:00 a.m. No forced entry,
property taken.

• An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 10600 block of Wayridge Way in Montgomery Village on Thursday, 5/21 around 2:30 a.m. An attempt to force entry was unsuccessful, nothing taken.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 8100 block of Exodus Drive in Gaithersburg on Thursday, 5/21 around midnight. No forced entry, property taken.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 9400 block of Merust Lane in Gaithersburg on Wednesday, 5/20 between 8:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. No forced entry, nothing taken.

S1 Beat:

• A strong-arm robbery of a cab driver occurred on Quail Valley Boulevard and Emory Grove Road in Gaithersburg on Friday, 5/22 around 1:00 a.m. The driver responded to the area for a call but was assaulted and robbed when he arrived.
Suspect: B/M 18-25 years, 5’10” to 6’0”, goatee, braids, red sweatshirt, blue jeans
Suspect: B/M 18-25 years, black shirt, blue jeans
Additional: Two other B/Ms, 18-25 years

S2 Beat:

• An aggravated assault occurred at the intersection of Washington Grove Lane and Mineral Springs Drive in Gaithersburg on Sunday, 5/24. The victim and suspect are known to one another.
